It’s been far too long since I’ve posted, but I promise I’ll do better—especially since we’re moving. Well, to be more precise, we’ve moved. We arrived at San Francisco airport yesterday and made the hour and a half commute to Modesto, our new city, almost immediately afterward. Our trip was very uneventful, which is great since I’m 31 weeks pregnant with Bryn. Blakely fell asleep about 30 minutes into the flight and slept until we were about 30 minutes from landing. I wore compression socks and I had absolutely no swelling, which was AWESOME!
We’ve moved to Modesto because Hubby accepted a position here and we’re so excited to begin our new west coast life. I’m ecstatic about the milder winters and ability to participate in outdoor activities year-round.
We’re currently in a hotel, but we’ll be picking up our keys within the next few days and our household goods are scheduled to arrive in a week. Hubby isn’t happy about that because that’s several days later than the estimate originally provided, but I’m rolling with it. It think I’ve adopted the easy-going west coast attitude already. 🙂
